COVID-19 Update
Due to continuing safety concerns and hotel restrictions resulting from COVID 19, we have again decided it is in the best interest of the attendees and our staff to completely hold the Spring 2021 session of our CEMS Training Program virtually via Zoom and YouTube. Course dates for the Spring 20201 course have now been confirmed are set for March 30 - April 1, 2021. The same 3-day agenda and training will be provided. The online version of our course will cover the same topics and agenda, and our staff will also monitor the comment features on Zoom and YouTube to provide you an opportunity to pose any questions that you may have for our presenters. The registration cost remains the same. Agora tentatively intends to offer a Fall Course in person at our Embassy Suites (Brier Creek) location in Raleigh, NC for the Fall 2021 session. Those dates have been set for September 28-30, 2021.

Additional Agora Training Services
Emissions Testing Training (aka
Stack Testing)
Agora's new stack test training module provides a comprehensive overview of EPA Reference Methods commonly used to demonstrate compliance or performed as part of relative accuracy test audits (RATA) and/or MATS Rule required testing. Agora will identify key points in each method, including a review of common constants, measurement variables and equations. The training will also include presentations on the planning and execution of stack test programs and the review and reporting of stack test results. Agora will go over the roles and responsibilities for environmental, operations and test team personnel.
The objective of the training class is to provide a basic understanding of the reference methods and outline the intricacies associated with any test program. The training manual can be used as a quick reference guide for environmental personnel tasked with observing stack test programs and/or reviewing RATA or MATS Rule test results.
The training can be tailored to your specific needs and is presented over the course of one to two days.
Key Reference Methods Discussed:
- Flow Methods - Methods 1, 2, 2F, 2G and 2H
- Particulate Methods - Methods 5, 5B, 201A and 202
- Instrumental Test Methods - Methods 3A, 6C, 7E and 10
- Mercury - Method 30B
- Other Test Methods for Sulfuric Acid Mist, Ammonia Slip, HCl/HF etc.
